Construction progress of Vientiane (Laos) international airport terminal expansion project in March 2018

At the International passenger terminal West (IPTB West), INVESTCORP has handed over all internal items and front roof to the Owner and move to proceed auxiliary items outside.

At the International passenger terminal East (IPTB East), besides internal items which have been put into use by the Owner, external items such as Platform wood structure at front side, concrete drainage, curb and concrete ground are also being implemented.

At the International concourse, the whole 3rd floor and new construction area of the 2nd floor have been handed over to the Owner. At present, INVESTCORP is continuing to construct ground and ceiling at the 1st floor and finish all of the rest renovation works.

At the Existing passenger terminal, 70% of the workload has been finished and it is expected that the whole work will have been done by INVESTCORP by 31 May 2018.
