Groundbreaking ceremony of Nihon Plast Vietnam factory project
On May 22, 2019, INVESTCORP held a groundbreaking ceremony of the Nihon Plast Vietnam factory project in Thang Long industrial park (Vinh Phuc) - Thien Ke commune, Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc province. Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Owner - Nihon Plast Vietnam Company Ltd., the Main contractor’s representatives - Hazama Ando Corporation and representatives of the Contractor - INVESTCORP.
Nihon Plast Vietnam Companny Ltd. is a Japanese enterprise specializing in manufacturing spare parts and accessories for cars and other motor vehicles. In 2019, due to the demand of expanding market and meeting the increasing consume demand, the Owner decided to build a factory in Vietnam.
The Nihon Plast Vietnam factory project has a total area of 50,000m2 and a total investment capital of nearly US $30,000,000 and is divided into two phases. Phase 1 of the project includes factory, office, canteen and a number of auxiliary items.
It is expected that the first phase of the project will be completed and handed over on February 14, 2020.
