The staBOO Thanh Hoa OSB Bamboo Board Manufacturing Plant Project is a key project of the province with a scale of 25.5 hectares and a total investment of VND 3,199 billion, with INVESTCORP Group as the general contractor. With a capacity of 225,000 m³ of products per year, consuming about 1,000 tons of bamboo raw materials/day, this is considered the project with the largest capacity and scale in the world in the field of bamboo board manufacturing, using leading modern equipment and technology from Europe, opening a turning point for the forestry industry and developing a green, sustainable economy.

INVESTCORP Group is honored and proud to be selected by the Investor as the general contractor for the project. During the process of formation and development, INVESTCORP Group has successfully implemented many projects in different fields such as: electronics, automobiles, machinery and equipment manufacturing, food, livestock, textile dyeing, garment, renewable energy... The Thanh Hoa OSB staBOO Bamboo Board Manufacturing Plant Project marks a new industrial manufacturing field that INVESTCORP takes part in.

The plant is expected to officially come into operation in the third quarter of 2026. Upon completion, the project will create regular jobs for hundreds of local workers and thousands of indirect workers, contributing to the stable consumption of bamboo raw materials for people in mountainous areas of the Northern provinces. Environmentally friendly bamboo board products will be exported to many countries, contributing to promoting the Vietnamese bamboo brand to the international market.
