Management Board of Corporation has a visit to construction site of Vientiane (Laos) international airport terminal expansion project

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2017, the Managers of INVESTCORP had shared the warmest regards to the staffs and workers at the site. Furthermore, this is also a precious opportunity for INVESTCORP to broaden knowledge and experience on construction in a foreign country.

The Expansion Project of Vientiane (Laos) international airport terminal expansion project owned by the Department of Civil Aviation of Laos PDR – a division of Ministry of Public Works and Transport started from March 25, 2016. This is not only the first project INVESTCORP conquering the oversea region, but also the foundation for the corporation to expand into new construction market. In particular, INVESTCORP has come to the decision of establishing a branch in Myanmar called Investment and Development Construction Industrial Corporation Myanmar – INVESTCORP Myanmar.

Until now, the fourth floor structure of the International passenger terminal West (IPTB West) has almost been accomplished. Along with that, the foundation construction work of the Eastern site has been implementing. Also in this visit, the Managers of INVESTCORP met and worked with Hazama Ando Corporation – the Main contractor – to agree on accelerating construction works as to ensure the affirmed schedule.
