Update construction progress in April 2017 – Vientiane (Laos) international airport terminal expansion project

At the Western passenger terminal, the whole structure has been completed. Finishing works such as plastering and internal and external tiling of the building are actively hastened. In addition, outdoor work items such as excavation for the drainage systems have been implemented and are expected to be completed in May 2017.

At the Eastern passenger terminal, construction of columns of the first floor has been completed. Currently, the formwork and scaffolding have been erected to prepare for casting concrete of the floor beams of the 2nd floor in May 2017.

In addition, at the International concourse, all of steel structure work has been completed, ceiling and partition works have been implemented since mid-month and is being accelerated actively. As of the end of April 2017, total construction work quantity of ceiling and wall construction achieved 50% of total workload.
