Update construction progress – Lakeside Service Apartment (Myanmar) project in October 2020
In October 2020, the Lakeside Service Apartment (Myanmar) project continued to be postponed all construction works under the direction of the Yangon city government due to the second outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the newly received information, with the full preparation of disease prevention measures as required, the city government will agree to allow the project to continue construction in early November 2020.
It is expected that in November 2020, INVESTCORP Myanmar will strive to complete 100% of the excavation and installation of the steel brace support for the piling system in the basement and speed up the construction of reinforced concrete structure for the foundation framework, ground and wall of the basement to meet the construction progress of the project. Along with speeding up construction, the preparation for the next construction items is always a top priority. The materials and machinery that need ordering and importing have been carried out since August 2020 to ensure that the goods are delivered to the project on schedule.
