Update construction progress of Norman Myanmar factory project in January 2021
The Norman Myanmar factory project was started on January 10, 2021 by INVESTCORP Myanmar in Zone B - Thilawa Special economic zone.
The Norman Myanmar factory project is built on a 199,204 square meter plot of land including an office house, eight factories and an ancillary system. Around the factory, there is a system of heavy load roads, a drainage system and cooling tank system, fire tank to serve for the factories. It is expected that the project will be completed in March 2022.
At present, INVESTCORP Myanmar has completed the construction of temporary works such as offices, workshops and other ancillary items and started the construction of formwork and foundation excavation of the Factory 2.
In February 2021, INVESTCORP Myanmar will carry out the construction of the foundation of the Factory 1 and the Factory 2 in parallel and construct the rainwater drainage system and the outdoor road system to meet the progress of the project as well as to minimize the effects of the rainy season in Myanmar.
