Update the progress of the construction project in September, 2016

1. Factory construction project Phase 3 of Yokowo Vietnam Co., LTD.

The construction of Factory phase 3 project of Yokowo Vietnam Co., Ltd was officially started on September 24, 2016. Right after the groundbreaking ceremony, INVESTCORP immediately implemented temporary works such as contemporary fences, warehouse and road, etc… It is expected that piling work will have been finished by the end of October 2016.

2. Garment factory project of Maple Co., Ltd – Peony branch.

Garment factory project of Maple Co., Ltd – Peony branch is going through its last months of construction. By late September 2016, metal roof and metal wall panel categories of Sewing factory No.1, No.2, Cutting factory No.1 as well as Canteen No.1 were completed.

After having finished plastering inside and outside of the factory, the project has turned into the completion stage: skimcoat painting, gypsum work for wall and ceiling, aluminum and steel doors, etc… Plastering and tiling works for toilet areas, kitchen and canteen are also put in progress. Meanwhile, the clear-water reservoir (1.350 m3) was completed in order to follow up the stated progress.

In addition, the mechanical & electrical engineering of the project has been in the completion stage with the installation of transformers and now switching to carry out the lightning, air-conditioning, fire protection system, etc…

As expected, the whole interior facilities of the 4 factories above will be handed over to the Investor for installing production line in October 2016.

3. Vientiane international airport terminal expansion project.

At the construction site of Vientiane international airport terminal expansion project, with high working intensity, by the end of September 2016, INVESTCORP has completely finished the ground for the first floor of the International passenger terminal West. The column of the first floor and the floor-beams on the second floor are expected to be completed in October 2016 to meet the Investor’s requirement.

As scheduled, the whole concrete structure of the 3 storeys and the roof of the International Passenger Terminal West will be completed by December 2016. After that, INVESTCORP will shift to the completion stage of the International Passenger Terminal West and the concrete structure work of the International passenger terminal East in January 2017.
