Construction progress of Vientiane (Laos) international airport terminal expansion project in January 2018
By the end of Jan 2018, at the International passenger terminal West (IPTB West) of the Vientiane (Laos) international airport terminal expansion project, all internal items and front roof have been handed-over, external items are also being executed by INVESTCORP.
At the International passenger terminal East (IPTB East), internal items have been handed-over to the Owner to put in use. At present, the Contractor is moving into implementing external items such as concrete drainage, curb and concrete ground.
At the International concourse, after handing-over the 3rd floor and new construction area of 2nd floor, the Contractor is continuing to complete the remaining renovation area and proceed ground and ceiling works of the 1st floor. As expectation, 50% of the workload will have been completed and handed-over to the Owner by 10 Feb 2018.
At the Existing passenger terminal, old house items are started to execute and will be handed-over separately before 31 May 2018.
