Update construction progress in March 2017 – Vientiane (Laos) international airport terminal expansion project
On the construction site of Vientiane (Laos) International Airport, construction of the structure items has been actively implemented to meet the progress proposed with the Main contractor and the Investor.
At the end of March 2017, at the Western passenger terminal of Vientiane (Laos) international airport terminal expansion project, all of reinforced concrete structures have been completed. Finishing works such as building, plaster, ceiling execution are being implemented actively. It is expected that on April 15, 2017, the whole ceiling, wall and plastering work will be completed to move to tile and finish ceiling work.
At the Eastern passenger terminal, on March 20, foundation concrete, landfill and concrete lining for the base have been implemented and are expected to be completed by April 12.
In addition, at the International concouse, all of steel structure work has been completed to lay the foundation for the next work items such as ceiling, wall and remaining floor area.
