At WELCO Vietnam, the project of design and build factory is being accelerated by INVESTCORP 9 before the new year 2022.
Construction progress updated in December 2021 – Renovation and improvement project of Thanh Quang Park (historical site of lamp factory), Ba Dinh ward, Thanh Hoa city
At the end of December 2021, INVESTCORP Land Thanh Hoa Company Limited has completed the construction of 100% of the surface water drainage system and underground electrical lines; installed lights in the campus and completed the installation of quote stones and the nameplate with Thanh Hoa green stone. In addition, the installation of natural stone sidewalks, flower beds and box steel railings around the lake has reached 90%. The works are nearly completed, including: paving the internal road and courtyard with Terrazzo tiles and paving the steps up and down the lake with natural stone reached 80% of the volume; the renovation of cultural houses and public toilets reached 70% of the progress.

During the Covid-19 pandemic wave, the application of prolonged social distancing in many provinces and cities across the country has made the implementation of construction faced many difficulties. The measures to control and restrict people entering and exiting localities has caused difficulties in personnel mobilization, transportation of materials and equipment, increase in freight rates etc. However, INVESTCORP 9 still ensures the project progress and quality. All indoor items have been completed according to the schedule and will be inspected and handed over to the Investor in January 2022.

Although the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic in Bim Son town in December 2021 continued to be complicated, there were large outbreaks and complicated changes in the community, INVESTCORP 15 ensures the effective implementation of the "dual goal" of preventing and controlling diseases, protecting the health of engineers and workers, and ensuring the construction progress and completing the project plan.

At the end of December 2021, INVESTCORP Land Thanh Hoa Company Limited has completed 90% of K95 embankment, 80% of K98 embankment, 60% of grade 2 crushed stone road construction, 40% of curb installation, 45% of surface water and wastewater drainage systems. Besides, the volume of trees on the sidewalks has also been planted by 50%.

Construction progress updated in November 2021 – Design and build project of Welco Technology Vietnam Factory
At the end of November 2021, at the Design and build project of Welco Technology Vietnam Factory, INVESTCORP 9 has completed all the pile pressing work and 80% of the foundation frame and bracing. The foundation work is expected to be completed on December 5, 2021.

In November 2021, at the Renovation and improvement project of Thanh Quang Park (historical site of lamp factory), Ba Dinh ward, Thanh Hoa city, INVESTCORP Land Thanh Hoa has completed all the demolition of the existing infrastructure, installed stone curbs around the park, planted large trees in the campus and demolished the old coat of public toilets’ walls.
Construction progress updated in November 2021 – Toray International Vietnam factory project in Quang Ngai
In November 2021, at the indoor area of Toray International Vietnam Factory project in Quang Ngai, INVESTCORP 9 has completed all reinforced concrete work, completed 60% of tiling and 30% of aluminum and glass installation. It is expected that the indoor items will be completed in December 2021 for acceptance and handover to the Investor in January 2022.
Construction progress updated in November 2021 – Manufacturing eco-friendly decor product project
In November 2021, INVESTCORP 15 has completed the construction of all concrete floors for factories and office buildings. Concrete for the deck, dock floors No. 1 and stairs have also been completed in November 2021. The walls of the factory, office, and power room have also been done.
